Finishes Used

TRC Creations uses only natural food-grade oil and wax finishes on all cutting, cocktail, and charcuterie boards. We use the same on all other items that have a mat finish. We use water-based polyurethane and epoxy on all items that are ordered with a gloss or epoxy finish.

Wood Used

TRC Creations really enjoy working with Walnut, Mesquite, Alligator Juniper, Aromatic Cedar, and Maple. We either purchase the milled lumber from our local sources or mill it ourselves out of raw timber. Please don't hesitate to ask if you wish to purchase one of our pieces using another species of wood, as we are always open to new ideas!

Custom Requests

TRC Creations started by doing custom requests, and have just expanded from there. So if there is something you would like us to do, just holler and we'll see what we can do.

Challenge Coin Displays

All our displays come with coins already mounted. But if you have a coin or coins you would like mounted on a custom piece, just give us a shout so we can discuss what you are looking for. We can then find that exact wood species and style you are looking for, for that "one of a kind" piece!
